Women Business Owners Network, in partnership with the Vermont Commission on Women and Change The Story, hosted its 2016 Fall Conference with the theme "Telling Your Story" at the Vermont State House and Vermont Historical Museum on October 19. Marketing Partners' Pat Heffernan was on the team that created and presented the 2016 Status Report: Women's Business Ownership and the Vermont Economy to lead off the day, and VTDigger was the first to carry the news story.
The report is the third in a series of briefs published by Change The Story on topics related to women’s economic status in Vermont. It was a special delight for the Marketing Partners' team to enjoy the day with multiple clients — WBON, the Vermont Commission on Women, and Clute Wealth Management — as well as legislators and women business owner friends new and old.Women Business Owners Network is a nonprofit organization established in 1984 to foster, celebrate, and advance women’s business ownerships in Vermont.
